Green flag racing is always more fun, so please follow these rules and be patient.

1. You don't have to win to be good, be patient and you'll win respect.

2. Safety and Respect for all drivers should be your highest priority.

3. Drivers should show some skill and respect. Lift, brake, and be patient.

4. During the pace laps, each driver should keep a 2-3  car length distance between the car in front Of them.

5. The leader behind the pace car at the Start-Finish line will set
the pace for a smooth and fast transition past the Start-Finish line.
The leader will not fall back in order to get a jump on the field.
6. Every driver should listen to their spotter.

7. When racing side-by-side please know your limitations and hold your line.

8. Lapped cars and cars off the pace should hold their line and
don't suddenly change lines because you realize the leader is trying to
get past you. Even though your intent is to give room, unpredictable
and/or sudden changes frequently create the comments like "He just cut
me off" or "He's all over the place" or "He shot across the track and
wrecked me".

As some of you know, I have stopped the sales and distribution of Pro Forms as well as Member Application.  I saw a distinct lack of intrest from the CMS community as a whole.  I do continue to provide support for both programs through a support ticket system at PROWHS.com. 

The future for this software is very much in doubt.  As are other projects I had initialized.  I believe it is time to step away from programming for a bit and re-evaluate what I may or may not want to pursue.

DBF Motorsports joined Race2Play in Feb.  Since then we have experienced phenomenal growth  We race CTS trucks on Tuesday nights with full or near full fields.  The cup car series on Sat. mornings is a little lighter on drivers, but, it is comming along swiftly as well.

With Tom Moseley as my partner, terrific things have happened and I believe will continue to happen.  We have set the stage to run the entire NASCAR season.

While it may still be small, DBFMotorsports.com is growing.  The hits on the web site are increasing as well as the number of registrations. The number of drivers in our races is also increasing.

We are installing and learning to use new software for league scoring.  We have also set up scheduled Sprint Cup and Craftsman Truck races using the VHR mod for rFactor.

My enjoyment grows with the growth of DBF Motorsports.

I have opened DBFMOTORSPORTS.com to attempt to create a new sim racing community.  We have focused on the VHR Stockcar mod for rFactor.  So far, results have been mixed. We'll continue to work to develop into a viable league.

Tom Mosely has been tremendous in his help and support for DBF Motorsports.  Thank you Tom.

I have had a number of people download Pro Forms and the Lite license, but no purchases of the full license. While I don't understand the dynamics of this.  There seems to be thousands of users that are content with Member Application or Pro Forms Lite.

I am now invesigating making Pro Forms compatable with PHPBB3.  Perhaps this will increase intrest in it.

Well, Pro Forms has been released to the public and in the store for a month now.  i must say, I'm very disappointed in the low amount of interest.  I figured there would be a great deal of interest in this software.  Perhaps because it was aimed at the PHP Nuke community the interest was low.

It appears to me the PHP Nuke software in all of it's different flavors is dying.  The problem is, I don't see any thing else growing rapidly.  Perhaps people are simply tiring of all this hobby web site business.  If that's true, then commercial small buisness sites should be an area of growth. 

I'll have to find a way into the buisness of web site buisness.  Perhaps also personal or family sites/blogs at a low cost.  Just some thoughts.  It's very hard to compete with some of the very large corporate sites and their offerings.

I know, I started out with software and meandered off course to general thoughts.  Sorry.

I have finally released Pro Forms v2.0.0 Alpha2 to the testers. 

I am hopeful there will be few corrections and changes. 

At this point I am approximately 3 mos behind my self imposed schedule.  I will continue working on the user manual while they are testing the software.  I will also be working on the upgrade portion of the installer so it will work with member Application and Pro Nuke Forms.

I am nearing completion of Pro Forms v2.0.0 Alpha 2.  This is another milestone in the development of Pro Forms.  It has taken a year to get to this point with little or no help.  I am very excited and proud of this software.  It's home site is www.prowhs.com.  The list of features is extensive and the development from a simple membership application form built in 2005 is amazing to me.  Hopefully it will release for testing in the next few days.  I have an irritating bug to fix, and then it can be distributed.

I am now disbanding Team DBF. I have begun forming a new team named DBF Motorsports. Why a new team? Because it provides a clean slate with no association to the past. It is my hope this will get us back on line with our team objectives and ethics.

Tuesday Night ARCA will come to a close this Tuesday night (June 24, 2008). I will be limiting, if not eliminating, my racing at Race2Play. While Tim McArthur has been supportive, my team has not. No wanted to assist in the operation of the chapter and those that promised to contribute to the financial side did not fulfill their promises.

With that said, one week from today, I will remove all members from the Team DBF team and abandon it. I will continue my subscription there for a bit to see if I wish to race at race2play again or not.

Web site consolidation is at hand.  I am preparing to close Pro-Nuke.com.  All projects and services will be moved to PROWHS.com.  We will also move Member Application from DBFDesigns.net to PROWHS.com.  This consolidation is expected to result in a lower web site maintenance work load.

DBFDesigns.com will remain to market custom software and site design.  DrivenByFaith.org will be pointed to our sim racing site DrivenByFaith.net.

I have begun to move my domain registrations and web sites away from Dream Host. The poor service and low level of support have made it undesirable to continue purchasing hosting from them.

They do have their place, if you are a beginner and want an inexpensive place to test the waters, you might consider them. However, be prepared for frequent outages and poor support to go along with their low cost.

We may retain a software development site their, since, it would not be mission critical on a 24/7 basis.
