Well, Pro Forms has been released to the public and in the store for a month now. i must say, I'm very disappointed in the low amount of interest. I figured there would be a great deal of interest in this software. Perhaps because it was aimed at the PHP Nuke community the interest was low.

It appears to me the PHP Nuke software in all of it's different flavors is dying. The problem is, I don't see any thing else growing rapidly. Perhaps people are simply tiring of all this hobby web site business. If that's true, then commercial small buisness sites should be an area of growth.

I'll have to find a way into the buisness of web site buisness. Perhaps also personal or family sites/blogs at a low cost. Just some thoughts. It's very hard to compete with some of the very large corporate sites and their offerings.

I know, I started out with software and meandered off course to general thoughts. Sorry.

I have finally released Pro Forms v2.0.0 Alpha2 to the testers.

I am hopeful there will be few corrections and changes.

At this point I am approximately 3 mos behind my self imposed schedule. I will continue working on the user manual while they are testing the software. I will also be working on the upgrade portion of the installer so it will work with member Application and Pro Nuke Forms.

Cheers all, wish me luck!

I am nearing completion of Pro Forms v2.0.0 Alpha 2. This is another milestone in the development of Pro Forms. It has taken a year to get to this point with little or no help. I am very excited and proud of this software. It's home site is www.prowhs.com. The list of features is extensive and the development from a simple membership application form built in 2005 is amazing to me. Hopefully it will release for testing in the next few days. I have an irritating bug to fix, and then it can be distributed.
It is my hope this will get us back on line with our team objectives and ethics.

Tuesday Night ARCA will come to a close this Tuesday night (June 24, 2008). I will be limiting, if not eliminating, my racing at Race2Play. While Tim McArthur has been supportive, my team has not. No wanted to assist in the operation of the chapter and those that promised to contribute to the financial side did not fulfill their promises.

With that said, one week from today, I will remove all members from the Team DBF team and abandon it. I will continue my subscription there for a bit to see if I wish to race at race2play again or not.

Web site consolidation is at hand. I am preparing to close Pro-Nuke.com. All projects and services will be moved to PROWHS.com. We will also move Member Application from DBFDesigns.net to PROWHS.com. This consolidation is expected to result in a lower web site maintenance work load.

DBFDesigns.com will remain to market custom software and site design. DrivenByFaith.org will be pointed to our sim racing site DrivenByFaith.net.

I have begun to move my domain registrations and web sites away from Dream Host. The poor service and low level of support have made it undesirable to continue purchasing hosting from them.

They do have their place, if you are a beginner and want an inexpensive place to test the waters, you might consider them. However, be prepared for frequent outages and poor support to go along with their low cost.

We may retain a software development site their, since, it would not be mission critical on a 24/7 basis.

ARCA Sim Racing has turned out to be a failure. While the sim performs well, The Sim Factory does not. With the lack of tracks shipped with ASR (ARCA Sim Racing) came promises from The Sim Factory that the missing tracks would be delivered before the official ARCA Racing series raced on them. To date, The Sim Factory has not delivered a single track for the series that started in February. This, along with some other very important issues, has led DBF Motorsports to with draw all support for ARCA Sim Racing. And to advise everyone to put off buyng it or not buy it at all.

Just thoughts from a lonely mind. It seems that I am able to help others bear the weight of life's issues, daily pressures, and associative needs. Yes, I see that as a blessing.

The problem I have today is, I seem to have no one to help bear mine. (Speaking of friends exclusively here. there are some things that family can't do.) It has been said that the best way to have friends is be one. I believe I fulfill that on a daily basis.

This is not a score keeping contest in any way. I simply found it at first odd and then depressing that I don't have any friend I feel I can call and talk to about me and the weights on my shoulders.

This is most likely an issue in my mind and a lack of observation on my part. Sort of an "I have to be strong for everyone" mentality that has created this issue real or perceived.

Things have turned around a bit. Not my finishing positions, but, my enjoyment of racing.

I have removed a great deal of pressure from myself simply with self discussion and talking to friends. If there was a definition of trying to do to much, it would include video clips of me over the past couple of months.

I am now working on the mental mistakes in strtegy and operation of the race. As well as trying to provide help for others as best I can. I now find racing a huge amount of fun again.

This has been my worst season of racing ever. I cannot believe the way I have performed. My talent as a driver seems to have left me. A couple of months ago I was regaling wins and now I can't even keep the car on the track. My driving has caused other peoples evenings to be ruined and I just can't tolerate that from myself. I am having thoughts of disbanding the race team and leaving GPR until I can get myself straightened out. This inability to race well appears to have cost me the respect of one of my close friends. While I'm not certain what course I will take here, I'm quite certain my next race will weigh heavily in my decision.

Is this a poor me entry? No, rather a vent of frustration with myself.

I am home from work again today. the dyshidrosis is to bad to be able to hold tools, let alone use them. I'm going to have to get something figured out soon. I can't afford to miss work.

My dyshidrosis is getting worse. I can't focus at all with the itching. It covers at least 60% of my hands and feet. I'm doing more research for something to ease it.
